I've decided to share some work being done with Cobalt 2013. The release may be set for mid-2012. The primary goal is to be as intuitive as possible.

 A new product is in the works! Email Backup will be able to save your emails and in some cases also your contacts, address book, calender, and even your account settings. The design is complete and a screenshot is available. Development will be short and this simple tool will be available soon. Click here to go to the product page or click here for the product's forum.
Email Backup is designed in Blend using WPF. This application will require .NET 3.0. Feel free to post any suggestions or questions about this new product in the forums.
This product has been put on hold until the release of Cobalt 2.0.

The website will be moving to a new host and is being redesigned. The website construction is about 75% completed and almost ready to go live. Those who have registered on this site will have to reregister on the new site to access the forums. A new version of Joomla (1.7) will be used. Thank you for your patience.
Cobalt Backup 2.0 is also in development.

An issue has been discovered with Cobalt Backup 1.0.5 on Windows XP. The application starts with Windows and thinks that you have not activated and will not let you activate, it also may think you started a trial instead. This will fix with this update. Download Cobalt in the downloads section and install.
If you have any trouble let me know in the forums. I am also working on some videos to show how to create new backups and use the software. I hope to have these available soon!
