Email Backup is simply what its name implies. You will be able to backup your emails, and in some cases your account settings and contacts as well. These can then be restored later using the same program.

There will not be an scheduling or auto feature for the initial release. The design is complete and current pricing will be free for a limited time.

Plans are to allow backup and restore for:
Microsoft Office Outlook 2003
Microsoft Office Outlook 2007
Microsoft Office Outlook 2010
Mozilla Thunderbird 3
Microsoft Outlook Express
Microsoft Windows Mail (Vista)
Microsoft Windows Live Mail
Eudora

The initial release may not include all of these, but Outlook is first on the list.
